Scope: This course is for students in grades 5-8 who are looking for challenging math problems. It is intended for less experienced students who are just getting started on middle school math contests, such as MathCounts, MOEMS, and AMC 8, in the coming year. It is designed for students preparing for School and Chapter MATHCOUNTS, and also help with the problems on the AMC 8. Students will receive systematic training to enhance their skills for middle school math contests through intensive practice on real and simulated AMC8 and MathCounts problems.
Small class for maximized individual attention: 5-10 students
ONLINE INSTRUCTION USING ZOOM IN A FACE-TO-FACE LIVE FASHION! Textbook is not required. Syllabus and course material will be distributed in the course Curriculum section (course registration is required).
Tuition: $192 ($24 per 1.5-hour lecture) non-refundable after first class.
