Summer Bridge Math (5th Grade)
This course is suitable for students currently in grade 5. It helps students prevent the summer math learning loss and ensures a smooth transition to the next grade level (grade 6 in the fall semester). The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive and in-depth coverage of the current grade level math and a strong head start for the next.
Goals and Strategies:

Review key 5th grade math topics such as variable expressions, order of operations, and composite word problems, etc.

Learn key 6th grade math topics such as variable equations, GCF/LCM, and statistics, etc.

Practice with real and simulated M-STEP questions.
Class will meet online twice a week for five weeks from June 21, 2021-July 23, 2021
Small class for maximized individual attention: 10-15 students
ONLINE INSTRUCTION USING ZOOM IN A FACE-TO-FACE LIVE FASHION! Syllabus and coursework will be distributed in the course Curriculum section (course registration is required).
Tuition: $150 ($15 per one-hour class) non-refundable after first class.
