Scope:

This course is suitable for students currently in grade 3. It helps students prevent the summer math learning loss and ensures a smooth transition to the next grade level (grade 4 in the fall semester). The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive and in-depth coverage of the current grade level math and a strong head start for the next.

Goals and Strategies:

  • Review key 3rd grade math topics such as four operations, fraction comparison, time, and money, etc.

  • Learn key 4th grade math topics such as fraction operations, decimal operations, decimal fraction conversions, etc.

  • Practice with real and simulated M-STEP questions.

Class will meet online twice a week for five weeks from June 21, 2021-July 23, 2021

Small class for maximized individual attention: 10-15 students

ONLINE INSTRUCTION USING ZOOM IN A FACE-TO-FACE LIVE FASHION! Syllabus and coursework will be distributed in the course Curriculum section (course registration is required).

Tuition: $150 ($15 per one-hour class).
